MORT:112 CAPTAIN THREE LEG / STINKHOLE - "Neighborhood Watch / Aural And Olfaction Butchery" CD

CAPTAIN THREE LEG (USA) / STINKHOLE (USA) - “Neighborhood Watch / Aural And Olfaction Butchery” split CD... 63 trax of savage noisecore brutality from C3L with bits of harsh noise mixed in for texture; shorter, faster and harder than anything else in their catalog. Stinkhole assaults two senses at once with 157 trax of improvised noisecore crud with pants shitting where the vocals should be. Recorded in 1996 and 2005 and originally slated for a 7" release that never happened, this noxious mess is finally available for consumption. Limited to 300 CD version available now from Housepig and Mortville Noise for $3.00 + shipping.

 * The CD is packaged in a poly sleeve with a standard 4 panel insert. If you feel you must put it inside of a jewel case, a printable tray card is included with the Bandcamp download.

MORT:113 NEE! - "Nee!'s Finest: Does Noise Belong In Music?" CD

Unfortunately for Nee!, most people’s introduction to the band was their split 7” with Warsore - arguably the greatest band in grindcore. Their drummer once told me he thought the record was a mistake, but I wouldn’t have asked them to do it if I thought the two bands weren’t evenly matched. Though they were absolutely buried by what ended up being Warsore’s best material, Nee!’s “30 Song Demo” was grind/noise perfection. It was everything I loved about grindcore, and I wanted more people to hear them. Twenty years later, Mortville is proud to reissue the band’s entire recorded output in one package. Collected on this CD is their “Nee Means No” CD, “30 Song Demo”, split w/ Warsore 7”, split w/ Pissed Off Orgasm cassette, tracks from the “Three Bean Salad” compilation, “Unearthed” compilation, plus unreleased live and studio material. It’s 119 tracks / 77 minutes of unhinged, bulldozing, blast-driven Dutch grind/noise on a 98 track CD. $5.00 + shipping.

MORT:060 "Slipped Through the Cracks" compilation

This thing has been an albatross hanging around my neck since 1998. It started with a couple of bands that sent their tracks, but didn’t make the deadline, for “Attacked by Bees…” Instead of just saying, “Sorry, you’re out of luck”, I decided to put together another compilation. But, one of the complaints I heard often about my previous tape compilations was that people didn’t like the mixture of noise and music. Taking that into consideration and spreading myself thinner than I should have, I took on the task of doing two separate compilations at once; one all experimental/noise, the other grindcore/hardcore. I’ve never been terribly good at multitasking, though, and having just finished “Attacked by Bees…”, I really wasn’t feeling up to the task. Complicating things further, I was at a loss as to which compilation to put some of the bands as they really defied classification. Some of the other bands that sent tracks I just didn’t like and didn’t want to put them on either. Things were getting busier for me with Mortville. Between working my day job and filling orders in my free time; I lacked motivation to see either project to completion. Instead, these tapes have been sitting in a box for 14 years gathering dust, exclusive material people sent me for release that’s gone unheard all this time. Some of these songs could have very easily have gone on “Where’s Your Beard?”, my third compilation tape, but these tapes were all but forgotten when I started compiling it.

Some of the bands sent graphics for the booklet, but most didn’t. It’s safe to assume that all of the contact information on the graphics are outdated by now, so I’ve decided not to include any of them. Most of these bands/projects don’t exist today, a few I think may have only existed to record for these compilations. One of the tapes wasn't labeled at all and I couldn't figure out who it was, so I left them off. I got used to listening to these songs in alphabetical order, so that’s how I’m presenting them. I’m putting the music out there now to clean the slate, so enjoy it for what it is. Consider it unfinished business, an accidental time capsule.

NECROPHILIACS - "The Collected Works"

So, I guess I'm posting other people's releases here now...

Necrophiliacs are one of the great "ham-sandwich-in-the-mouth" noisecore bands from Germany. I've always considered them to be a noisecore band because of the scene they came from, but their songs had a lot of structured parts in addition to the blasts of noise. Those vocals are something else, though, soooooo fucking stupid... There are cover versions of Patareni, No Comment, Sick of it All, Infest and Fear of God mixed in this 42 song collection. According to noisewiki.com
they shared members with W.B.I. at one point. After they split up some of them went on to form Flachenbrand. With the exception of the ultra-rare split 7" with W.B.I., all of these rips came from my vinyl / CDs. I've never once seen a copy of the W.B.I. split available for sale and all of the rips I've found of it online sound like complete dogshit. I've included it here anyway to keep this collection more or less complete. There might have been some demos or compilation tracks I don't know about, so I can't say for sure how complete this is. This collects the following releases:
V/A – RUDI RAT VOL. 6 2CD (Ecocentric Records / 1999)
V/A – OBRADE: A Tribute to Patareni LP (Falšanja Kol'ko'š Records / 1996)
“Hardcore Psychos” 7” (Perverted Taste / 1995)
Split 7” w/ INCISIVE (Perverted Taste / 1995)
Split 7” w/ MEAT SHITS (Regurgitated Semen Records / 1994)
“Primitive and Unclutivated” 12” (Rodel Records / 1993)
Split 7” w/ LEUCEMIE (Rodel Records / 1992)
Split 7” w/ W.B.I. (Schnauf Records / 1991)
